Environment Canada says it’s relying on weather radar from outside Saskatchewan while its two major radars in the province are out of operation.
Weather agency spokesman John Paul Cragg says the Bethune radar was damaged during a heavy wind last October, while the installation near Radisson is being replaced.
Cragg says two radar systems in Alberta, one in Manitoba and two in the United States are helping to cover the Saskatchewan.
