Young Citizen of the Year Award
The Young Citizen of the Year Award recognizes outstanding contribution to the community in persons under the age of twenty – one (21).
Criteria for the Young Citizen of the Year Award
1. Citizen of the Year Award nominees will be nominated by the general public
2. Nominees must be a citizen of the town of Kindersley and area.
3. Nominee must be age twenty – one (21) or younger and enrolled in an educational facility or equivalent.
4. The achievement(s) on which the nomination is based must occur between February 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016 to be eligible.
5. Nominations should be based on excellence in one or more of the following areas:
• Nominee is actively involved in community work and/or service club’s/church groups outside of their place of employment or educational facility
• Nominee has had an positive impact in the community
•Nominee has demonstrated a personal commitment to the benefit of the community
• Has performed an outstanding achievement or act of heroism
Deadline: Forms can be filled out no later than 5:00pm on October 17, 2017
