PLACENTIA BAY, N.L. – A Transportation Safety Board investigation into a fatal fishing accident that left three people dead off Newfoundland says the crew was using a boat that was not intended for crab fishing.
The vessel was reported overdue from a fishing trip in Placentia Bay around 7:30 p.m. on June 16, 2015, and the bodies of the three crew members were found the next day.
