Bucket loads of rain and snow fall upon southern Saskatchewan

Cypress Hills area sees more than 50 cm of snow since Sunday

An abundance of rain and snow fell upon southern Saskatchewan Monday.

As of 7 a.m. CST Tuesday morning, 51 cm of snow had been reported in Cypress Hills Provincial Park.

A low pressure system anchored itself over southern Saskatchewan and brought a mixture of thunderstorms, strong wind and precipitation.
