Ridge of Arctic Air Brings Frigid Weather Cancelling Bus Routes
With winds chill over -40, the Sun West School Division has issued several bus cancellations. See full list here
Cancellations are not only in the Sun West Division, as the Prairie Spirit School Division and Living Sky School Division have cancelled all buses this morning.
The wind chill is expected to moderate slightly late this morning but will likely return again tonight. Kindersley is expecting -45 wind chill tonight.
Temperatures like this bring risk of frostbite and hypothermia, be sure to dress in layers and cover skin from exposure. When traveling be sure to take an emergency kit and dress for the weather.
