Serious Vehicle Collision West of Rosetown
Rosetown RCMP, Fire and EMS were called to a serious motor vehicle accident this morning, the collision took place on Highway 7, 11 km west of Rosetown.
A westbound pickup truck collided with a eastbound semi tractor-trailer. Then the pickup truck collided with an eastbound SUV that was travelling behind the semi.
The driver of the SUV, a 55-year-old female (from Fiske, SK) was pronounced deceased on the scene. The driver of the pickup truck , a 47-year-old male (from Rosetown, SK) was transported to the hospital with undetermined injuries. The 73-year-old semi driver (from Asquith, SK) had no reported injuries. None of the vehicles had passengers.
The collision is being investigated by the Rosetown RCMP and an RCMP Collision Reconstructionist.
