Fire Prevention Week, October 8-14
The Kindersley Fire Department will be doing an open house style gathering on Saturday October 14th from 11am-3pm in the Kindersley Walmart parking lot. The Kindersley Fire Department staff, the Kindersley EMS staff and RCMP members will be in attendance. There will also be emergency vehicle on site for the public to view
1:00pm Vehicle Extraction demonstration using the Jaws of Life
2:00pm Fire Extinguisher demonstration
There will also be an opportunity for the public to shoot water at targets with a fire hose while being timed during a hose pull for those interested. Gift cards (donated by JEM Creative) will be awarded to the fastest adult and fastest child.
The Kindersley Community Service group will be hosting a BBQ. All BBQ prceeds to go the Kindersley Swimming Pool.
