Flashing Lights Mark Graves of Local Veterans

A Visual Reminder of Veterans Who Served

Red lights flashed as a beautiful tribute to local veterans who have served in the area.

To mark the 100th Anniversary of the WWI, the war to end all wars, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 57 placed flashing red lights at the graves of each veteran. Mrs. Dobbin’s class from the Elizabeth School helped with the placing of the lights.

The amount of flashing red lights reminds of how many men and women from the area sacrificed their lives.
