Highway 7 To See More Passing Lanes Next Year

More Passing Lanes to be Added

The Ministry of Highways has more plans for the busy roadway of Highway 7. The upcoming project will add three more sets of passing lanes on Highway 7 between the communities of Fiske and Kindersley. These passing lanes will be in addition to the two passing lanes already completed between Fiske and Rosetown.

The Ministry of Highways expects to begin the project next spring, although the exact timeline is dependant on the contractor who secures the agreement.

$259.8 million of highway construction work will be tendered by the Government of Saskatchewan as part of the fall tender plan. This plan includes more than 45 planned projects for the 2020 construction season.

Design details have not been yet finalized for Highway 7 projects west of Kindersley.
