At the beginning of the month, two businesses in Kindersley joined forces to provide an even better shopping, planning and building experience for those in the Kindersley area
Kindersley Castle Building Centre bought Home FX and now proudly carries their product lines and enjoys the added expertise of Home FX’s personnel.
The idea of amalgamating the two businesses was a thought back in spring, but with the busyness of summer, it didn’t fully materialize until the long weekend of September. “It all began when we wanted to give our customers another line of paint, and so the seed was planted to make this joining possible.” Melody Fries, co-owner of Kindersley Castle, said that she was always interested in the Benjamin Moore paint line, the line carried by Home FX. This fact, coupled with the fact that the two businesses both have to do with home building and remodeling, made becoming one business a reasonable idea.
“It’s been a great fit so far, and I’m thrilled to have Drew and Shawna from Home FX a part of the Kindersley Castle team,” Melody Fries continued. “Their expertise in painting, blinds, kitchen cabinets, décor, and home design will help us serve our customers better.”
Shawna Douglas, previous owner of Home FX, agreed that the merge was a beneficial one. “This allows the customers to go right from the beginning of a project to the end, all under one roof.”
Previous Home FX customers can still rest easy that their needs will be met, as both Shawna and Drew will be available at Kindersley Castle for knowledge and service follow up. “Our customer records are moving over with us and Drew, and I will continue with very much the same hours; so basically nothing much has changed for us other than we are in a different building.”
A lumberyard and building center, Kindersley Castle carries products necessary for a home remodeling or building.
