The second annual KBEX Awards by the Kindersley Chamber of Commerce was held on the first Friday of this month, recognizing various businesses and individuals in Kindersley.
The evening opened in the Banquet room of the Kindersley Inn, where nominees and members of the community joined for a scrumptious meal before recognizing all nominees and those awarded. Mayor Rod Perkins and Eric Friesen, President of the Kindersley Chamber of Commerce, were not able to attend the event, but each sent their warmest congratulations to each finalist and nominee.
“You are the ones who make our days brighter, our jobs a little easier… thank you,” read part of Mayor Rob Perkins’ statement. “May we use this occasion to remember to say ‘thank you’ a little more often.”
“With the uncertainty in new tax laws and an ever-changing economic landscape…[this occasion] is a positive…recognition of a job well done, congratulations to all nominees!” added Eric Friesen’s statement.
