On Saturday, November 19, a Christmas craft and small business sale will be taking place at the Kindersley Elks Hall. Lasting from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., the event is being organized as a fundraiser for the Kindersley & District Food Bank.
The sale will feature local small businesses and crafts, and admission is free, explained Lore Bews, who is organizing the event with her daughter and two sisters. There will be a colouring table provided for children so that parents can shop. In addition, Santa will be paying the Hall a visit—for half an hour in the morning, and half an hour in the afternoon.
Bring a nonperishable food item and your name will be entered into a draw to win door prizes!
The Kindersley Cadets will be managing a booth for lunch.
The event still has room for up to 10 more tables and application is easy. Simply email SistersAtHeart30@hotmail.com and ask for an application form. For $40, you can register for your own table at the sale.
