Communities across the province has been smashing warm weather records as high temperatures sweep into Saskatchewan. On Wednesday, Saskatoon reached temperature of 18.7 C, breaking the previous record that had been set in 1917 of 13.9 C.
Kindersley is no exception, the community set a new record of 18 C (preliminary estimate), blowing past the old record of 14.4 C that had been set in 1954. Kindersley started taking weather records in 1916.
This stretch of warm weather is allowing local farmers to get this year’s crop into the bin.
