Nomination Race Expected to be Vigorous
Earlier this month, on March 6th, David Anderson, the MP for Cypress Hills-Grasslands announced he would not be seeking reelection. With the federal election in just over 6 months the nomination race is already gaining momentum.
Although no formal announcements have been made for dates or deadlines the riding association expects to have that ironed out in the next few weeks.
The riding expects it to be a vigorous campaign and plans to have voting completed early so the new nominee can tour the area before the federal election officially begins.
