“It’s been a great pleasure to wander the neighbourhood and watch people stand here and pick up books,” Golding told CTV Ottawa.
Mimi Golding stocks the cabinet-sized mini-library in front of her house with a handful of favourite books. The three outdoor book boxes are approximately half a metre wide and stand at the edge of Golding’s front yard on Oxford Street in the Hintonburg neighbourhood of Ottawa. For three years, she has been lovingly stocking her micro library with free books for passersby who can share their own books in return.
