It has always been one of my top priorities to bring forward the concerns of rural Canadians as your Member of Parliament. For this reason, when I spoke to Budget 2021 in House yesterday, I focused on issues that matter to rural Canadians.
Unfortunately, when it comes to the energy sector, the environment, and universal broadband, the Liberal government has completely failed Canadians. I also pointed out that Ottawa has a lot to learn from rural Canadians who are the best stewards of the environment and know more on the issues than many of the politicians making these decisions.
