Road Update for May 9th, 2018
On May 9th, the RM of Kindersley announced on their website that on May 11th, Primary Weight Permits will be available for all roads within the R.M. of Kindersley No. 290.
Primary weight permits will be required for travel within the RM of Kindersley at all times. All but 3 of the RM roads are rated primary. The 3 primary weight roads within the RM of Kindersley are:
- Brock Grid North (#657) & Brock South
- Floaxcombe South
- Rosana Road
According to the RM of Kindersley, yearly primary weight permits may be applied for now. Application for yearly and daily permits are available on their website under forms. Those applying for yearly permits will receive a sticker that needs to be placed on the driver’s window at all times, as this will prevent the driver from being pulled over.
The RM of Kindersley is reminding all motorists to slow down, as they have received several complaints of speed. Be advised to slow down to 50km when driving past farm yards and 30km when passing workers on the road or any emergency vehicle.
Be advised that information regarding water advisories, construction areas and a fire ban will be released shortly.
