On Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at approximately 12:09pm, Kindersley and Kerrobert RCMP officers responded to a call of suspicious activity. Members attended a local hotel and arrested eight individuals. A search warrant was executed for a vehicle under the care and control of one of the individuals, as well as the hotel room they were staying in. The search resulted in the seizure of a number of weapons and various quantities of marijuana, cocaine, methanphetamine and other miscellaneous drug distribution items being seized. The three females and five males were transported to Saskatoon to appear in Provincial Court in Saskatoon for various Criminal Code and CDSA charges.
