Travel is not recommended on Highway 7 right now (Friday 19th at Noon). Treacherous road conditions have caused RCMP to issue a statement and Global news Saskatoon has reported the highway closed. “The road conditions are terrible right now” said Steven Lund, who was heading back to Coleville early to avoid getting stranded. Highway #7 has been closed from Fiske through Kindersley to the Alberta border because of treacherous road conditions.
Current conditions are winter driving conditions, ice covered, icy or slippery sections, wet subject to freezing, drifting snow, fog and reduced visibility. Area highways are deteriorating in visibility and driving conditions as the current weather conditions continue.
