Some Saskatchewan crop may be left in field due to wet weather, says province

Quality is below average for almost all crops

Wet and cool weather this fall means some crops in Saskatchewan may have to be left in the field until next spring.

The government says 93 per cent of crops have been combined, and harvest may continue in some regions as farmers try to get the rest in before winter.

However, the Ministry of Agriculture says some crops are likely to be left out until spring.
