Town says community’s population has been over 5,000 for past 5 years
The town of Kindersley is ready for an upgrade.
Kindersley Town Council has voted in favour of submitting a request to the provincial government to give the community city status.
Council says Kindersley’s population has been staying over 5,000 people for the past five years, meeting the minimum population of 5,000 required to be considered a city in Saskatchewan.
