Town of Kindersley Celebrating Saskatchewan Multicultural Week

It’s Multicultural Week in Saskatchewan from November 17-25!

During the last Town Council Meeting, Mayor Rod Perkins declared November 17-25th as Saskatchewan Multicultural Week in the Town of Kindersley. The Council urges all residents to participate and take this fantastic opportunity to learn something new about your fellow neighbours and community members.

According to the Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan, the two main purposes of the week are 1) To recognize the Saskatchewan Multiculturalism Act and 2) Celebrate cultural diversity and multicultural contributions in our province.

This November, the theme of Multicultural Week is, ‘Who’s your Multicultural Superhero? You can join the campaign on Social Media and share with us your hero with hashtag #MulticulturalSuperhero.
