Local RCMP Seize $10,600 Worth of Drugs in Traffic Stop
Traffic Stop Leads to Seizure of Drugs
It proved to be more than an average traffic stop for the Kerrobert and Kindersley RCMP on Monday. At around 10:00 p.m on January 6th, RCMP conducted a traffic stop in Kindersley.
Officers recognized the male driving the vehicle due to a recent drug trafficking charge. The driver was on release conditions with the charge currently before the courts.
After searching the vehicle officers seized cocaine, marijuana and methamphetamine, along with a large amount of cash. According to the RCMP media release, the estimated street value of the drugs totalled $10,600.
47 year old Conrad Anderson from Kindersley has been charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of trafficking and one charge of Fail to Comply with a condition of a recognizance. Anderson was remanded into custody and will appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Thursday.
