If you see a coyote, call the conservation officer
The Town of Kindersley issued a notice on the Town Facebook page stating that there has been sightings of deer and coyotes within town limits.
If you happen to come upon a coyote, remember to make lots of noise and call the conservation officer at 1-800-567-4224.
If you happen to spot a coyote when walking your dog be sure to leash your dog, this can prevent them from running towards the coyote. Stand tall and assertive as coyotes are wary of humans, do not run as this can trigger the coyotes prey drive and the coyote may chase you. Yell and stomp your feet, or shake a jacket until the coyote leaves. Remember to call the conservation officer.
