Kindersley lose to the Terriers 3-1

The Kindersley Jr. Klippers travelled to Yorkton yesterday. However, the outcome wasn’t what they hoped for with a 3-1 loss to the Terriers.

The Friday night game saw the first period remain scoreless with shots against net sitting at 14-8 in favour of the Terriers.

Kindersley came out strong in the second period, outshooting the Terriers 15-7, but it wasn’t enough, and the Terriers scored in the second, giving them a 1-0 lead.

The Terriers scored thirteen-seconds into the third, but Kindersley fought back and scored a powerplay goal by Liam Fraser at 5:20. A final effort saw the Terriers score at 7:34, solidifying the final 3-1 score.

With this win, the Yorkton Hyundai Terriers clinch the top spot in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League’s Viterra Division.
