Community members banding together during COVID-19 crisis
Given these uncertain times, it’s heartwarming to see community members band together and lend a helping hand.
Jaisee Miller started “Helping Through Kindersley Community,” a public group on Facebook, as a hub for people who are looking for local information or wanting to volunteer. “I started this group because I saw the need for a community hub within our town. A situation happened, and we needed to pull together. From there, I realized that if there is a hub for people, our community can help in a much bigger way together.”
“Helping through Kindersley Community,” is currently looking for volunteers who can assist with daily errands, such as grocery shopping, for those who are unable to do so due to the current COVID-19 crisis. You can find additional information or sign up to volunteer on their Facebook page.
