Resuming will focus on passing emergency legislation to implement the measures the government announced this week.
TORONTO — MPs will return to the House of Commons to pass emergency legislation aimed at supporting Canadians and the economy during the COVID-19 pandemic, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Sunday.
Speaking from outside Rideau Cottage, where he is in self-isolation, Trudeau said Parliament will resume Tuesday at noon.
