Minimum Wage Set to Increase in October

Saskatchewan’s minimum wage amount is set to increase for the 12th time in 13 years. On October 1st, 2020 the minimum amount employers can pay their employees will be $11.45 per hour.

“We have established sustainable and predictable minimum wage increases.” Don Morgan, Labour Relations and Workplace Safety Minister noted in the June 5th press release that he hoped that this announcement would assist families and new workers to plan ahead and enter the workforce with confidence.
