
Nominations Now Open For The 2020 Saskatchewan Volunteer Medal

They are the backbone of our communities, and the success of our non-profit organizations–they are our volunteers. Nominations are now open for the 2020 Saskatchewan Volunteer Medal, a chance to recognize that volunteer in your community that makes a difference.
Saskatchewan has the highest rate of volunteers in the country, and in 1995, the Saskatchewan Volunteers Medal was created in order to recognize the selfless time and labor dedicated by these individuals.
“Please help us to recognize these generous and capable people by nominating a deserving individual for the Saskatchewan Volunteer Medal.” Lieutenant Governor Russ Mirasty said in a recent press release.
Persons who are nominated must be either current or former long-term residents of our province. Organizations cannot be nominated, only individuals.
