Weekend Races at Flatlanders Speedway
Racing action is set to take place this weekend at Flatlanders Speedway with “The Ultimate Showdown”.
The speedway, which is located four miles west of Kindersley on Highway 7, will have hobbies, modifieds, street stocks, and thunder trucks race down the tracks, with cash prizes awarded in all classes!
The flag drops Saturday at 5 p.m., and Sunday will have races starting at 1:00 p.m. “We have racers coming from all over place, from what I understand we have cars coming here from Manitoba to BC,” explains Jason Hankewich, president of Flatlanders Speedway. “We are anticipating over 60 cars this time and over ten trucks.”
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the crowd size is limited to 150 spectators, tickets can be purchased at the gate for $10 per person with children 6 years and under free.
