New Swimming Guidelines for KAC
The Kindersley Aquatic Centre has seen some changes due to the recent updated COVID regulations.
Currently, the maximum capacity for public and leisure swim is 100 people, which includes staff and anyone watching.
Aquafit is limited to eight participants, and there is currently a registration set-up.
Gentle Aquafit class Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:15pm to 1:00pm is set at a max capacity of four. Patrons must pre register on the Town Website through Perfect Mind or call the pool.
Lane swimming is also set at eight participants, in order to maintain 3m distancing.
KAC swimmers are asked to remember that these guidelines will change with government regulations.
Current COVID-19 Regulations at the Kindersley Aquatic Centre are:
- Social Distancing
- Patrons wearing masks until they get to the water
- Plexiglass in the front reception area
- Frequent cleaning
- Every second sink and washroom cubicle open
- Every second shower open
- No use of lockers
- Pool capacity
- Phone or online registration for all fitness classes and lessons
