Museum of Lights Has Great First Weekend!
The Kindersley Museum of Lights kicked off on December 4th and it was met with incredible support by residents.
Thanks to participants’ donations, the total raised so far is $1600, and there are still two weekends left! Money from this fundraiser will go towards any repairs needed and maintaining the museum grounds and buildings.
“We are so pleased with the amount of support we received over the weekend, and are really looking forward to the next two weekends,” says Anna Polsfut, museum secretary. “We would also like to thank our sponsors SaskTel, SaskPower, SaskEnergy, SaskWater, DirectWest, and Town of Kindersley.”
Residents are reminded that Sundays are by appointment only. If you would like to book a Sunday time slot, please call the Town Office. The volunteer team has also changed the hours slightly, with the drive-thru ending at 9 p.m. instead of 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
Museum of Lights Schedule:
December 11th and 12th, 6 p.m.-9 p.m.
Sunday 13th, Drive-Thru by appointment only
December 18th and 19th, 6 p.m.–9 p.m.
Sunday 20th, Drive-Thru by appointment only
