VIDEO UPDATES: Winter Storm Warning Still in Effect

Heavy snowfall and strong winds will combine to create near zero visibilities at times into today (Monday).

Snowfall amounts totalling 10 to 20 cm are expected beginning this afternoon as a low pressure system tracks through the province. This evening, northwesterly winds gusting up to 70 km/h will develop across southwestern Saskatchewan as the snow is ongoing. Poor to near zero visibilities in snow and blowing snow are expected tonight into Monday morning.

Conditions will improve Monday afternoon as both winds and snow gradually diminish through the day.

Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow.

Winter storm warnings are issued when multiple types of severe winter weather are expected to occur together.
