Serious Collision with Power Pole in P.A. Sends Five to Hospital

Five individuals have been hospitalized, one with severe injuries, following a vehicle collision with a power pole in the 1000 Block of 22nd Street East early Sunday morning in Prince Albert.

The Prince Albert Police Service received a call at approximately 12:46 a.m. on November 19, reporting a vehicle collision with injuries. Upon arrival, the police located the vehicle that had collided with a power pole.

All five occupants were transported to the hospital with varying injuries, and the 22-year-old driver has been subsequently transferred to Regina with serious injuries.

The investigation is ongoing, led by the Prince Albert Police Service Criminal Investigation Division and Forensic Identification Unit, with support from the RCMP North Forensic Collision Reconstruction Team.

To aid in the investigation, there will be an increased police presence in the area on Sunday. Authorities are appealing to the public for assistance, requesting anyone with video surveillance covering 22nd Street East from 6th Avenue East to 10th Avenue East to contact the police at 306-953-4222.
