Rosetown RCMP Responded to Several Calls Involving Break-ins in Rosetown

In addition to the calls below there were 37 Traffic related charges issued, 1 false alarm call and 1 911 miss-dial call. Police are asking anyone with information about these or any other crime(s) to please

December 1, 2023:

At 04:04 PM, Rosetown RCMP received a report of a break and enter to a shop at a rural farm location. The matter is still under investigation.
At 04:25 PM, Rosetown RCMP received a report of a stolen item from a local business. Members attended and located the subject of the complaint, who returned to the store to pay for the stolen item. Complainant declined to proceed with charges.

December 2, 2023:

At 12:33 PM, Rosetown RCMP received a report of a lottery scam. Police are reminding people not to give any personal information to unknown individuals, and if in doubt, always call the RCMP before agreeing to any caller’s requests.

December 4, 2023:

At 09:56 AM, Rosetown RCMP received a report of theft of a truck and trailer at a rural farm location. The matter is still under investigation.

December 5, 2023:

At 01:47 PM, Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious person in Rosetown, SK. Members attended but found no suspicious activity.
At 12:33 AM, Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious person in Rosetown, SK. Members attended and transported a 34-year-old male to Rosetown Hospital for assessment.
At 03:48 PM, Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of e-transfer fraud. The matter is still under investigation.
At 05:59 PM, Rosetown RCMP received a request for a well-being check in Rosetown, SK. Members spoke to the subject of complaint.

December 6, 2023:

At 08:37 AM, Rosetown RCMP received a complaint of an individual knocking on doors late at night in Rosetown, SK. The matter is still under investigation.

December 7, 2023:

At 05:39 AM, Rosetown RCMP responded to several calls involving people who had their vehicles and garages gone through and items stolen on 3rd Avenue in Rosetown, SK. If anyone saw anything suspicious or has any video surveillance, please contact the RCMP Detachment at 306-882-5700.
