Applications Due Tomorrow For Kindersley & Area Christmas Hamper Program 2023
The Kindersley and District Food Bank, The Salvation Army, and The West Central Crisis & Family Support Centre have joined forces for this year’s Christmas hampers. The hampers will follow Canada’s Food Guide expectations, but will also include extra December items such as a holiday meal, treats, and children’s gifts.
The Christmas hampers will be distributed to recipients within the Kindersley & District Food Bank’s service area only: i.e. Kindersley, Smiley, Flaxcombe, Coleville, Brock, Marengo, Alsask and rural residents within. If you have any questions regarding this, please call to confirm.
For anyone needing an application forms, they are available at all three services, as well as the Hamper distribution location (former Cameron’s Clothing Company in the Kindersley Mall).
Please be sure to have your application completed and returned by Friday, December 15 at 4:00pm.
Pick up day for the hampers is Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 9:30 am to Noon and from 4:30pm to 6:30pm.

Donation drop off locations:
-Kindersley Mall location: December 1 to December 15 (except Sundays) from 12pm to 4pm.
-Crisis Centre: December 1 to December 15 Monday-Friday (business hours)
-Salvation Army: December 1 to December 15 (business hours)
Foods needed are: canned vegetables and fruit; Christmas oranges, soup, sasta, sasta Sauce, rice, cereals, peanut butter, beans, canned meat, andjuice, etc.
Toy Needs: new (unwrapped) toys, books, and games for children 12 and under
Monetary donations: (cash or cheque) are also gratefully accepted and may be dropped off at any of the three service organizations or at the collection site at the Kindersley Mall. Tax receipts for donations $20 and over will be issued/mailed.
