Snow, heavy at times, is expected to begin today and last through to Wednesday afternoon.

Locations: Central Saskatchewan. Snowfall amounts: 10 to 15 cm.

Time span: Tuesday afternoon until Wednesday afternoon.

Remarks: An Alberta clipper will track across Saskatchewan today. Heavy snowfall is anticipated to develop near the Alberta border and track eastwards across central Saskatchewan around midday today, continuing into Wednesday. Gusty winds accompanying the snowfall will cause reduced visibility at times due to blowing snow. The snowfall is expected to taper off on Wednesday afternoon and evening.  Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
