Klippers’ Inglis, Mueller Commit to Alvernia

The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers are excited to announce that Easton Inglis and Brock Mueller have both committed to playing college hockey at Alvernia University – NCAA D3. They are the fifth and sixth Klippers to commit to playing post-secondary hockey for next season.

Inglis hails from Okotoks, Alberta, and came to the Klippers via the Calgary Canucks in a trade last fall. As a 20-year-old, he put up career highs in all offensive categories, amassing 11 goals and 13 assists for 24 points. Easton provided the Klippers’ lineup with energy immediately upon his arrival and carried that through until the last game of the season. An elite penalty killer and faceoff man, Inglis always did whatever was asked of him and played a key role in getting the Klippers back to the postseason.

Brock Mueller, of Calgary, Alberta, came to the Klippers at the trade deadline from the Flin Flon Bombers. In his short time with the Klippers, Mueller put up 6 goals and 8 assists for 14 points in 20 games, adding another 2 points in four playoff games. Brock did anything that was asked of him during his time in Kindersley and did whatever it took to win, a trait that went a long way with his teammates and Klipper fans alike. There was no quit in his game, and he played a big role in getting the Klippers back into the playoff picture.

Alvernia University is located in Reading, PA, and will be heading into its third season of competition at the NCAA D3 level, competing in the UCHC conference.

We would like to thank Easton and Brock as an organization, and wish them nothing but the best moving forward in their hockey and educational journeys!
