Kindersley Fire Participates in Training Day

Hello, Cody Phinney back for another update from the Kindersley Fire Brigade.

A few week ago, our members spent an entire day out at our training grounds for a full day of different training scenarios. We aim to have at least one full day of training at least once a quarter, regardless of what the weather may be like. This particular training day our members practiced Rapid Intervention Teams, Primary Search Teams, Pump Operations, and Drafting.

Summer has officially started for the schools and students in Kindersley! That means there will be more bikes on the roads and kids in the parks. Sometimes kids are unpredictable around roads and might not be paying as much attention to traffic as they should be. Just a reminder to take extra care for pedestrians and to slow down on the roads around town this summer. With people out enjoying the weather and the construction that’s been ongoing there are lots of things to watch out for!
