Rosetown RCMP Reports for October 2nd to October 8th
The Rosetown RCMP have been busy from October 2nd to the 8th.
On October 2nd Rosetown police attended to the following:
-Received a report of mischief in Wiseton, SK, however there was insufficient evidence to proceeds.
-A call was received from a care home due to a resident having left Members attended and the resident was located and returned safely to the care home.
-An erratic driver was reported on Highway 4 near Rosetown. The driver was located and cautioned about her driving.
-An alarm call was received for a business in Rosetown. Members attended and it was deemed as a false alarm as no suspicious activity was found.
-A male driver was stopped for speeding in a construction zone near Darcy, SK. During the stop the driver was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
On October 3rd:
-Received a Report of a false alarm at a Rosetown business.
-Received a report of a false alarm at a business near Herschel, SK.
On October 5th:
-Received a call for assistance for traffic control by a tire tech to attend a semi requiring tire repair near McGee, SK.
On October 6th:
-A male hitch hiking on Highway 7 near Rosetown was reported and police attended. Police provided assistance to the individual in safely getting the hitch hiker to the desired location.
-Responded to an assault in Rosetown, SK. One of the parties sustained injuries and charges were issued. The matter is in court.
-A report of an alarm at a business near Rosetown, SK. Members attended and it was determined it was a false alarm.
-A report of a motor vehicle collision involving a semi truck and a moose near Rosetown, SK. There were no injuries and the semi was towed.
On October 7th:
-A wellbeing check was called in. Members attended and no further action was required.
-A complaint involving illegal drugs was received. Members attended and the matter is still under investigation.
On October 8th:
-Rosetown RCMP received a report of a suspicious vehicle in Harris, SK. Through investigation it revealed nothing criminal in nature.
In addition, 10 Traffic related charges issued and 5 911 misdialed calls.
