Wheatland Regional Library Gets Crafty
The Wheatland Regional Library has created a “crafty” way to keep kids entertained thanks to their Take and Make craft bags. These free bags are created for Halloween, Remembrance Day, Winter and School Break.
There are two levels of crafts, the Take and Make Junior bag is aimed at younger patrons and the regular Take and Make bags are for children grades three and up. The contents of the kits vary each time, but the Halloween bag, while already gone at the Kindersley Library, contained booklists, a DIY Party handout with recipes, playlists, and decoration suggestions, as well as supplies for two crafts.
If you are interested in an upcoming bag, be sure to connect with your local library. The public is also encouraged to check the “Library at Home for Kids” page on the Wheatland website where resources for children including upcoming zoom programs, books, and online resources are highlighted.
