Erratic Driver and a Semi Blocking the Highway, All Part of Rosetown RCMP Calls of Service
On February 5th, Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 7 near Harris, SK. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.
On February 7th they received a report of an injured deer on Highway 7. Members were unable to locate the deer.
On February 8th, RCMP received a report of a suspicious vehicle in Rosetown. Members were unable to locate the vehicle.
On February 9th, Rosetown RCMP received a report of a semi trailer blocking part of the highway on Highway 15. Members attended to ensure the trailer was moved off the highway. Later that day they received another report of a semi trailer blocking part of the highway on Highway 7. The semi had broken down and was not obstructing traffic.
On February 10th, a report of fraud was called in. There was insufficient evidence to proceed with charges. RCMP also received a report of an impaired driver in Elrose, SK. Members attended and the subject of complaint was being driven home by a sober driver. That same day a traffic complaint on Highway 7 was called in. A member spoke to the semi driver. No charges were issued and a warning was given to the driver.
On February 11th, Rosetown RCMP received a request for a wellbeing check. The matter is still under investigation.
In addition to these calls, one traffic related charge was issued.
