Meadow Lake RCMP Asking for Help in Finding Woman Possibly Held Against Will in Car

Meadow Lake RCMP are looking to gain additional information about an incident that occurred at Petro Canada gas station on the Flying Dust First Nation after it was reported a woman was “possibly held against her will.”

RCMP received a call on Friday that a woman was heard screaming between 6:10 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. from the backseat of a brown or tan 2000-2005 Chevrolet Cavalier in the parking lot of the gas station.

A man and woman were in the front seats of the vehicle, and at one point, it appeared the woman went to the backseat to subdue the allegedly distressed female. After leaving the gas station, the car went east on Highway 55 on the way to Green Lake.

The adult male driver is described as Caucasian with dyed blue hair, and wearing a black jacket with a large white “YZ” symbol on the back and down the sleeves.

The adult female front passenger is described as Caucasian with dyed red hair. She was wearing a black and white shirt with grey pants.

There is no description available for the woman in the backseat.

At this time, it is unknown if a criminal offence has occurred. Police want to confirm the safety of the woman who was reportedly in distress in the backseat.

Anyone with information regarding this incident can contact the Meadow Lake RCMP at 306-236-2570 or 310-RCMP, or 911.

Information can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or submitting a tip online at www.saskcrimestoppers.com
