Members of Kindersley Fire to Attend Castor Firefighter’s Funeral
The Alberta Fire Chiefs Association (AFCA) has been supporting the Castor Fire Department during this time of mourning as they prepare for the upcoming funeral of Firefighter Stephen Rayfield who was killed while responding to a call on the evening of Friday 4, 2022.
Local representation from the Kindersley Fire Brigade will be attending the funeral service.
The service will take place in Castor, Alberta on Tuesday, February 15th at 1:00 p.m.

The AFCA would like to acknowledge the mutual aid partners that have stepped forward to cover fire calls for Castor since the accident. In order to allow them to also attend the service, arrangements have been made for the AFCA WUI-SP teams from Clearwater County and the Town of High Level to take over these responsibilities from Monday evening until Tuesday evening.
