Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Program

SaskEV is focused on electrical vehicle education and adoption in Saskatchewan. They work alongside SaskPower to help them identify and engage communities along important routes which lack EV Charging infrastructure.

They are currently offering a financial assistance package to help business owners/companies complete installation of DC Fast chargers for public use.

Getting around Saskatchewan in an EV is getting easier, but there are still areas that don’t have charging stations available.

To support this, the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Program (EVIP) has been created. This program will help fund, develop and install up to 20 public EV fast charging stations. Once the infrastructure is in place, there will be more opportunities to charge an EV during road trips in Saskatchewan.

They work with third parties across the province interested in owning and operating fast charging stations.

This program is supported by Natural Resources Canada’s Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program.
