Klippers’ Training Camp Update!

Saturday, September 2nd, 2023 is the 2nd day of training camp for the Kindersley Jr. Klippers and it began promptly at 9:30 am. A total of 36 players (including 18 returnees) fighting for a spot on the roster. Matt Mazzocchi, Aiden Bangs and Braden Koch left a void that the team needs to fill. We know that every team in the SJHL is in rebuilding mode every year and this year is no different.

The Klippers had a not so great last season and are looking to finish higher in the standings and want to prove they are better than their record. Head coach Clayton Jardine and assistant coach Tyler Traptow have their hands full evaluating the players and building the best possible team to contend.

3rd year player and goal of the year scorer, Logan Linklater, is still recovering from a foot injury and hopes to be lacing up the skates with 2 weeks. He and Tylin Hilbig formed a great partnership on the ice last year and they hope to keep it going.

Show your support and come out and cheer on the Klippers this season. The first home game of the 2023-24 season is Saturday, September 23rd against the visiting Battlefords North Stars. Puck drop is at 7:30.
