Enjoying Kindersley’s Parks
In recent weeks, we have been taking advantage of the (mostly) beautiful weather! Groups have been to Baker Park a few times already for picnics, games, ice cream treats, and a few runs through the splash pad. We welcomed friends and family at Baker Park in June as well when we celebrated Father’s Day with games and treats!
Everyone spent an afternoon at Elks Park where they brought their lunches for a picnic, kicked around a soccer ball, and enjoyed the playground equipment.
We have also made many trips to get our steps in at both the Community Walking Trail and the indoor track at the West Central Events Centre. We sure are lucky to live and play in a community with many options, especially in the summer!
Even when the weather does not cooperate, there are some brave souls who tried their luck fishing at the Motherwell Dam in the rain. They got one bite, but it got away! We are excited to head back out and try some more this summer!
