SASKATCHEWAN – On Thursday, August 11th, Dairy Queen locations across the province will continue to make miracles happen for the 20th year running with Miracle Treat Day. 100% of net proceeds from every Blizzard® Treats sold are donated to Saskatchewan’s Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation, the only Saskatchewan member of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Since 1984, Dairy Queen has played an integral role to Children’s Miracle Network in Canada, contributing over $46 million in support of local children’s hospital foundations in Canada. In 2021 alone, local children’s hospitals across Canada delivered care to children through nearly 3 million in-person and virtual visits. To support the health of children and their families, Dairy Queen staff, volunteers and stakeholders come together throughout the year to highlight Miracle Treat Day and help raise funds.
“Thanks to the incredible support from partners like Dairy Queen and Children’s Miracle Network in Canada, we are thrilled to have everyone’s favourite fundraiser back in the summer on August 11th,” said Tanner Braaten, Community Engagement Director. “When you purchase a Blizzard® at Dairy Queen on Miracle Treat Day, it directly impacts the children and families in Saskatchewan. Your support helps ensure they have access to specialized health care close to home when they need it most.”
Dairy Queen will also be accepting donations on Miracle Treat Day. Your donation will go directly to helping children and their families receive access to specialized care they receive at Saskatchewan’s Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital.
