Snow and Colder Weather on the Way
Winter Blast Expected
It was a freezing start to the day this morning with wind chill of -28 as cold weather moves in across the province. Tonight we can expect gusty winds along with snow continuing into tomorrow. Wind chill tonight can bring risk of frostbite and visibility may be reduced by the blowing snow.
Environment Canada says Kindersley and area can expect anywhere from 5 to 10 cm of snowfall on Wednesday along with wind gusting to 50 km/h.
The colder temperatures will not leave soon as by Friday the thermometer could be hovering near minus 20.
If you plan on travelling tomorrow, please monitor road conditions on Highway Hotline.
