Senior Klipper vs Wilkie Outlaws
It was literally the calm before the winter storm at the Co-op Arena on Friday, November 4th as the visiting Wilkie Outlaws provided the opposition to the home town Kindersley Senior Klippers.
The Klippers scored with only 9 seconds gone off the clock! Who hoo. Uh oh. Wilkie came back 12 seconds later to tie the game. Hmmm. Now what? The teams played relatively equal for the remainder of the 1st period. The 2nd period saws the Klippers score 3 more times and more penalties followed as both teams were wanting to mix it up.
Kindersley goalie Travis Child played another outstanding game as he repeatedly turned aside Outlaw shots!
The final score was Kindersley 5 and Wilkie 2. The fans in attendance were treated to another thriller with strong performances by all the Klippers. Wilkie is known for having strong teams but Friday night was a Klipper night!
Next home game for the Senior Klippers is Saturday, November 12th against the Unity Miners. Puck drop at 7:30 in the Co-op Arena at the WCEC.
